STUDIO ITZATNA is the home of our collective, located at The Old Print Works, 498-506 Moseley Rd, Balsall Heath, Birmingham B12 9AH. Our previous venue "Casa Itzatna" and "Garden Itzatna" are now closed.

Birmingham Open Studios |
Every Autumn for Birmingham Open Studios, we open up Studio Itzatna to the public as an open artist studio, and invite our collective members to showcase their work made during the year.
Birmingham Open Studios allows artists and craftspeople of all experience to display their craft from their own homes or working studios. GARDEN ITZATNA was our outdoor community activation site, located in the back garden of good ol' Casa Itzatna (Our past HQ). From 2022 to 2024, it was a community, urban 'forest garden' allotment for local artists and activists. Garden Itzatna was home to various community events, from soltice and equinox events, to video screenings, gardening and food projects, amongst others. |
